Townsquare Media Hires Leading Digital Media Executive

Former AOL Media President Bill Wilson Joins the Company as Executive Vice President & Chief Digital Officer

Greenwich, CT – September 29, 2010 – Townsquare Media, LLC announced today that Bill Wilson joined the Company’s management team as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer, a newly created position. Mr. Wilson will architect the Company’s digital media strategy and be responsible for growing existing digital revenue streams and developing digital products that capitalize on Townsquare Media’s market-leading collection of local media assets. Mr. Wilson will report to Townsquare Media’s Chairman and CEO, Steven Price.

Bill is one of the leading digital media executives in the world, and we are very excited about the growth prospects of our digital media business under his leadership,” commented Mr. Price. “Our digital strategy is of paramount importance as we continue our evolution into a multi-platform local media business.”

Previously, Mr. Wilson was at AOL Inc., most recently serving as President of AOL Media where he had overall responsibility for the Company’s global content strategy. In his nine years at AOL, he also served in a number of roles including President, AOL Programming & Studios and Executive Vice President, AOL Programming. Under his leadership, AOL’s content sites grew to reach more than 75 million monthly unique visitors domestically and over 150 million worldwide. Prior to joining AOL in 2001, Mr. Wilson served as Senior Vice President for Worldwide Marketing at Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) where he was responsible for worldwide marketing including artist, digital and non-traditional marketing across over 50 countries for the world’s biggest artists including Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews Band, Outkast, Whitney Houston and Santana. Mr. Wilson started his career at BMG subsidiary Arista Records where he was a product manager working with artists across numerous genres including Notorious B.I.G., Kenny G., Sarah McLachlan and Spiritualized.

Mr. Wilson won an Emmy Award in 2006 for the record setting Live 8 program and was named to the Hollywood Reporter’s “Digital Power List” in 2008 which profiles the 50 people most influencing the creation and distribution of content online. In addition, he was profiled in Crain’s New York Business’ “40 under Forty” in 2005, Billboard’s “Power Players” in Digital Entertainment in 2005, as well as Hollywood Reporter’s “Next Generation” in 2003.

Mr. Wilson graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in business management and earned an M.B.A. with honors in finance and marketing from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Management.
