Mr. Schatz co-founded Townsquare in 2010. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Schatz spent nearly a decade advising companies on valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raises. Most recently he worked in Bear Stearns’ Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group where he was responsible for the execution of mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions for clients such as Freescale, NTELOS, Cablevision, Digitas and Valassis Communications. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Schatz worked as an associate at Brown Brothers Harriman in its Mergers and Acquisitions Group where he was primarily responsible for advising owners of closely held firms in various industries, including: health care services, medical technology, telecom services, marketing & information services and other outsourced business services. Mr. Schatz began his career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan in its Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group. Mr. Schatz received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
